We will be transitioning into a big change this year so traveling is not in our list. We might just bring the kids somewhere near in our local area so they can have fun but we won't be doing far distance travel, that's for sure.
These photos were taken from our summer getaway last year. We went to Hershey Park where the kids had a blast. I am so glad that they are big enough to go on rides but I still worry when I can't see them anymore when they go up and get ready to go down. With so many crazy things happening in this world, you can't help but worry. I always say a prayer when they are out of my sight that they will be safe. Most of the times, my husband would go with them but he runs out of gas too sometimes and we let the kids go on their own. It is good to give them the sense of freedom and make them feel like they are adult. You still have to tell them the dos and don'ts when it comes to dealing with strangers and I am glad that they understand that part.
When it comes to water, kids does not feel cold. The adrenaline that they have is enough to warm their body up, no matter how long they stay in the water.Hopefully we could bring the kids somewhere fun again this year even just in the local areas.
Now thinking of 2016 summer escapades with family. Iba ang sarap ng summer with family :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so true about kids not feeling the cold water. When I lived in San Diego, we used to go to the beach and the water would be freezing! But it was always full of kids ... they don't care, they just want to have fun in the ocean! It looks like your kids had a ball at Hershey!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to take the family to Hershey Park. We've been planning a road trip, and Hershey Park is HIGH on our list.
ReplyDeleteMy kids would absolutely love it there. This park has everything for everybody, so it's the perfect family spot!
ReplyDeleteWe need to add this to my list of travel plans. I actually didn't realized they had this waterpark there. I LOVE waterparks!
ReplyDeleteI would love to take my family to Hershey park. Looks really fun.
ReplyDeleteWe have been there a couple times, my son loved it! We are planning on coming back this summer!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like so much fun. I want to take my kids on a fun trip this summer. I'm not sure what we will do yet. I wish that I lived closer to Hershey Park bc it sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I think Hershey Park is such a fun place for families to spend the day or even more.
ReplyDeleteMy Kids would love this. They are huge fans of water parks. It is a great way to cool off in the summer.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun. My daughters would have a blast. We love going to water parks. I'm hoping that I can take them to one this year.
ReplyDeleteOmg Hershey Park is the best!!!! We live a few hours a way and go once a year. Always have the best time!!
ReplyDeleteI've only been to this park once, and not the water park side! Definitely will have to take the kids someday
ReplyDeleteWe haven't gone to Hershey park yet but hope to do so this year. I would love to watch the kids coast on the lazy river and see their smiling faces as they go by.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure who loves water parks more, Adults or Kids!
ReplyDeleteHershey Park is AWESOME! Visiting Hershey was the first time I ever had stayed in a hotel as a kid and we had a total blast! I love watching the kisses be made.
ReplyDeleteThey look like they are having fun. I agree with you that kids don't seem to care about the cold water. I've noticed that from my nieces and nephew.
ReplyDeleteLooks like your family had a great time at Hershey Park, great photos too!
