For the past couple of weeks, our weather wasn't very pleasing. I wanted to share w about this Rockboard RBX SCOOTER that I got for review but I couldn't do it earlier due to weather. There came a point where I said, I was just gonna save this as a Christmas gift and not show it to kids for now. Luckily, we had a great weather this weekend and we were able to use it finally.but it's not happening.
This rockboard scooter is very easy to assemble. I even did it with a very little help from DH. He keep telling me to read the manual but I am the kid of person to just look at the stuff and put it together especially if it's a simple thing. Most of the times I messed up but sometimes I get lucky lol. But anyway, this is packaged so well and the instruction is very easy to follow (I finally looked at it when I put the top part backwards, lol).
DH was very busy with his homework but I told him that we should let the kids ride the scooter while the weather is nice and so we did just that and the kids were truly surprosed and pleased with it.
They picked it up right away, I thought they will have a hard time with it but I was wrong. It hel;ped that my husband is there because I get to document them riding it.
I love that the propulsion is achieved with each rock, wasting zero energy and allowing the scooter to reach speeds up to 10mph. This is really a great exercise for the body. You get to work on your balance, flexibility, and core strength. The kids said that this is better than the green machine that they have because they are standing and it's fun to rock it back and forth.
This is appropriate for ages 8 and up. My husband was very excited to show the kids how this works because he said that he had fun riding one when he was a kid. He rode it forst and show the kids how it works, took a picture of him but he didn't want me to post it, lol. This scooter can be ridden by adult not exceeding 220 lbs so my husband's weight which is 181 lbs is still great for this.
I hope I can save for one more so I could get my daughter one too so they don't have to switch using one. Right now it is on sale for $159.99 from its original price of $179.99. Hopefully this will still on sale right around Christmas so I can buy another one.
The Burritos really had a great time. We took them at the college campus near our area because there were no cars there and there's lot of room for them to explore with the scooter.
My son did not want to stop riding. He really loves this and so thankful that we got them one. Thanks to Rockboard for giving me a chance to work with them in featuring this rockboard scooter in my kids' blog, Rockboard totally rocks!
The patented Rockboard RBX Scooter is built to handle large adults who are kids at heart! See who is riding below? Lol, the kids challenged me to get on it and rock it so I did. I tell you, this really makes your legs work great. Rockboard Scooter rocks! We truly love our new mini machine!
Thanks to DH for taking a break from writing his papers and helping us out and being part of the fun. We let them rode it again yesterday after we pressure washed our fence.
You can watch how fun it is to ride a rockboard through the short videos I managed to record
