My kids came home last Friday with their report cards. Both of them have excellent grades which makes me very happy. All that extra time of studying with them is worth every minute. Below is Ms. Burrito's grades/ratings for the second grading.
The little man is doing great as well. I am now at peace that my son would do as good as his sister does. He just don't have that drive that she has but with me and my husband's guidance and help, he will do very good (I hope).
Our son wants to be tested for the gifted program as well but I am not sure if he is ready for it.
Wow, with kids having those grades - any mom or parent would be proud! :) Galing!

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! You must be so proud! Let me tell you something, my little brother was super lazy in school. He skated by until high school, then decided to show off his smarts. He did amazing there, but in college he slacked again. But today, he's a fairly successful lawyer who graduated near the top of his law school class. He's brilliant, he just didn't really care to show it in school sometimes.
ReplyDeleteYou must be proud! You have such great kids! God Bless :)
ReplyDeleteSmart, beautiful babies... you are beyond blessed sis.:)
ReplyDeleteYou must be very proud and rightly so. I miss those days when my kids were that age and so eager to learn and loved school. They are out of college now and navigating the real world and finding out what it is all about.
ReplyDeleteIt's great when the kids come home with good grades. When I see that I don't feel bad getting them something they asked for but they have to work for it with those grades. Makes you feel really proud.
ReplyDeleteWay to go!!! All the hard work is paying off! Congrats! This is something very special to be proud of!
